Are many lenders forcing unspeakable security demands on investors?

What’s the best method for escaping the trap?

Is it even possible to start investing from equity in a PPOR into a first, second, third and forth IP with out being trapped by a single lender?     =

I assume you are referring to Cross collateralisation and some lenders do have a policy to do this, but others can be negotiated with.

I don't think any lenders try to force cross collateralising loans on people. Some seem to have a policy of trying to do it, but it you insist they should relent – if not, just go elsewhere.
