    Hi all

    I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible and to any advantage to change tittles from a strata to a Torrens tittle. Can it be done without to much cost. Obviously there would be survey fees and council fees etc. project is 3 single level units on 1,000sm block. They are all connected by common walls and each already has their own small back yard.

    I think you need to let people know what you are trying to achieve
    it is possible to amalgamate titles back into one title – but given so much has been done to strata the property – I do wonder why
    obviously if the property is on one title – the council fees should be less
    Torrens title is a description of the title process started by a clever South Australian where you didn't have to have a chain of documents to establish your title to property – just the latest registered details evidenced your title to property
