Does it cost money to be on a real estate agents list to call you if a property comes up you could be interested in buying ?
Hi Tommi,
short answer…..no it shouldn't … but don't tell him exactly your budget as his job is to extract as much money from the purchaser (ie… you!!) as possible… good luck matemcfarland@goldenedgehomes wrote:Hi Tommi,

It will cost you only if a transaction takes place, that is, you purchase a property. However, when you call you need to show that you are serious about purchasing a property and be ready to give to the broker a good description of what you are looking for (price range, type of property, etc.) so he does not waste your time and his time. Hope this helps.
The only stupid question is the one NOT asked.
Never be afraid to ask, the worst you can get is a NO.Don't ask this question too loud; the agents might think this is a new way they can gouge some dough out of us.
