On Friday I braved the crowds to attend the official opening of the new Orion Springfield shopping centre in Ipswich. What a lovely complex it is, flooded with natural light & quite eco friendly using tank water for toilets and gardens. Its best described as two airy low-rise malls located either side of a shady shoplined Main Street that leads to a town square. This is only Stage 1 with a further 4 stages to be developed, and will eventually stretch 1.5klm in length!!
So I invite those from Brissy to come out and visit the new look Ipswich.
