We are extremly new to the idea of Property Investing to say the least!!!
We just dont know How to use and how much to use of our own Money/Equity to get started.
I realise we are Kiwis but we arent that bad really!!! Just hopeless at cricket!!
We have got Steves latest book From 0 to 260+ Properties and have realised we have alot of Lazy money.

i need help to start my investing i also have equity of about 200,000 but my financial adviser said im over my head at looking at $250,000 to $270,000 etc 94,000 on house,121.00 per week for child maintenance and 35.00 per week for train fare no other bills do you think im over my head need advise please thank you anybody[confused2]
Hi Roger there are various ways the investors choose some like to maximise their lending and others like to stay below the 80% to avoid LMI Lenders Mortgage Insurance. This may also mean the difference to a positive or negative cash flow.
I guess this also depends on how much the investor has available. Structuring the loans is important from the begining as it can be costly making changes down the track.
