Hi boys and girls and other forumaholics
I have an address for a VIDCAST on realestate.com.au featuring Margaret Lomas talking about Property Investing.
It is a basic overview on Property Investing, but for the newbies on this site it will be very informative. I am a big fan of Margaret and I recommend all to have a look at it. She is a straight shooter and ‘walks the walk and talks the talk’.
The address is: http://www.realestate.com.au/vidcast?rsf=destiny.
copy then paste the address into your web browser address bar and click go.You will need to register for the sake of r/e’s marketing guff, then click continue.
Cheers,
Marc.

Thanks LA Aussie. Your always so informative. I really like Margaret Lomas too, but only wish I took her advice when I read her books years ago. I’m now re-reading them to get back on track. You can only have so many neg geared properties, till you run out of cashflow…..
yeah – hearin’ that. I started that way but not now thankfully.
I still think neg geared props have their place, but only in a rapidly rising market so you can execute a well orchestrated flip. Where’s the next one??
Cheers,
Marc.

Thanks LA Aussie
I think the penny finally dropped about +ve cashflow vs +ve gearing. Now I know what to look for next time to get off the -ve gearing merrygoround.

Yup, watched it the other night, and it is indeed great info for new and old investors alike. Margaret would have to be one of the most ‘practical’ down to earth investors (I won’t use the guru word) there is, and her methods have obviously worked for her and many others. Definately worth a watch, especially for newer investors, or people that are a bit unsure of ‘where to next’. Her books, especially the latest ‘The Truth about Positive Cashflow Property’ are excellent too. All the best all……[strum]
Thanks for sharing. Was very insightful and really highlighted
what positive cashflow was all about (previously thought this
was synonomous with positive gearing).Any idea when Margaret Lomas’ next session might be ?
Cheers[biggrin]
Thanks for that mate. Does anybody know how/when the following sessions they refered to will become available?
