Hey guys, Hust want to say Hi [strum] I have been interested in Real estate investment since I was 21 (bout 6 years) and I am finally putting the steps in place to create a profitable career in real estate investment. THIS IS MY YEAR! [biggrin] well, anyhoo, I saw one of Steve’s books at Borders. “0 to 260+ properties in 7 years” Now i understand that the title is there to catch your eye, but in your opinion, is the title a realistic proposal? And does the book focus on negative gearing or positive gearing?
Thanks for your time guys!
Hi, Jimmy
All of Steve’s books are on positive cashflow RE investments, not even positive cashflow.
Start by reading up his first book ‘0 to 130+ properties in 3.5 yrs’. You will get much of his ideas from there.
All the best.

Hi, Jimmy
Steve’s books are on positive cashflow RE investment, not on positive gearing.
Made a typo mistake with my previous reply.
Regards
Daniel Lee [specs]Thanks for the reply Daniel, I actually went down to borders and purchased the 0 to 260 book today anyway, and I have to say that I was a bit sceptical of Steve Mcknight after I heard he had some “dissagreement” with Today tonight, (mind you I dont believe ANYTHING Today tonight spread, either way it still makes you cautious) apparently they were making claims on his behalf, I am not sure what that situation detailed.
But this book comes across VERY honest, and seemingly with a lot of integrity. I must say i am enjoying it alot, I’m up to page 100 already! [biggrin]
Hi, I bought that book in the airport & read the bulk of it on the plane, on my way to Auckland to arrange refinancing to fund my devt project in Australia. Sounds complicated but just to confirm that this book is almost like gospel to me. It describes my position so accurately.
I found the 1st book last Christmas after dire warnings about the property market. The data about the capital cities was very useful and I used the worksheets to take a position on Adelaide. I’m happy to report that my position was correct.
The latest book (the 2nd part particularly) is most useful for people who already have sizeable property investments. I feel blessed that I saw this book & that I bought it. Incidentally, I also bought Jan Somers’ book.
Thank you, Steve.
Kum YinHi Jimmy,
Glad to hear you’re enjoying Steve’s new book, he certainly makes it easy to read and I love all the little stories along the way. I have attended one of his seminars and he comes across as very genuine & sincere. I’m sure you’ll also pick up lots of useful ideas off this forum.
