    Hello,

I have a trust, with someone as the trustee, and myself as the appointer.

I want to change the appointer on the trust, without copping a heafy fee, is their an easy way of doing this? ie simply writing it into the minutes of the trust? or possibly a cleardocs type document template for this?

    Cheers,

Depends on what your deed says. One of mine states that an “Appointor may (in writing) appoint another or replacement Appointor.”

Terry is on the money. There are so many differently worded deeds out there. You will ned to read and understand the deed you have before that question can be answered.

I have read some that allow the appointer to resign and be replaced.
