All Topics / Help Needed! / Cost of selling your own property
Hi Guys,
I have a property that I am trying to sell without an agent,
I have someone interested and want to know if anyone can give me a bit of guidance. It is a storage/ office that I am selling for $38,000.
I spoke to a solicitor and he told me I would need to prepare a section 32 and that would cost me $600.
Any help would be apreciated.Regards
FrankI sold my Qld IP to my tenant. I just had to tell the solicitor how much, tenants name and address (dah) and his solicitors details.
He prepared the REIQ contract which tenant signed and handed over a deposit cheque made out to my solicitors trust account. Job done. Can the solicitor prepare all the paperwork?
The role of a real estate agent is to find a buyer, if you already have one, you’ve already done the work [biggrin]Get the solicitor to prepare all the searches and settle the deal and your done!!!
