What is the zoning for rural A. My partner and i are wanting to buy a property in Queensland in this zoning area but are hoping we can subdivide many years down the track.
Would this zoning allow subdivision?
If not do they change zoning to allow / cater for population or area growth?
Finally, where would i typically look or contact to fing out this information?

most councils/shires have web sites with the zoning info. and info on up and coming development / rezoning etc for that shire.

Have just been in contact with Maroochy Shire about similiar.
We were zoned ” Precinct 10 Sustainable Rural Residential”.
Didn’t mean much to me but you can look at the your local council website, there will be a link to the future plan for the area. Best is to go to contact, you will find your way to a selection – say building application and ask away.
