All Topics / Help Needed! / Research & Feasability Studies
Hi
Does anyone know of resources used by people in the property industry (ie agents etc) that help research and analyse property aquisitions & land developments?
Thanks

Devfeas is good.a real estate database is handy too. like Red Square, or RP data. You can look up addresses and see what they sold for, owners, historical search of prices etc. You could even look up a whole suburb and export it to excel. Can also see how many properties you friends own!

I noticed all these feasability studies are for large developments. Is their any similar design spreadsheets that can be used for single residential dwellings?
Also, how do people go about researching an area and identifying areas that are likely to have good capital growth? Is it just a matter of talking to real estate agants in the area, finding out how many rental properties they have on their books, working out their vacancy rates etc..??
Cheers
