    Hi ppl,

I’m looking at buying an investment property that is on a slant. The numbers are all good and I’m happy to go ahead with the transaction, but I’m concerned about the implications that it is on a hill. There is quiet a large step-up level slant on the backyard that is around 1m high.
Is it possible and, if so, expensive to level out land ?
How could this affect future buyers/investors/tenants ?

Really searching for some answers.. [blink]

    Thanks to everyone in advance.

    Hello Arthur,

Sorry, I don’t know the answer to cost or feasibility of levelling the site.
My only comment would be concerning what your intention is with the property. if you are simply keeping it to rent out then it would depend on what demographic you are looking at as tenants. If you were to develope the property and rebuild, slopes tend to add to the cost. Some developers won’t touch anything on a slope.

    Good luck
