2 years ago I went to a seminar by a gentleman called George Mihos at the Victorian Arts Centre. He promised that we could get rich quickly by following his ideas and strategies. Though the seminar that I went to was free he said that in order to learn all the secrets that he had we would have to attend a 3 day course and join his institution which would charge us about $9000. Recently I came across some of the notes I took at his seminar and thought I would check out his 3 day course. I checked on Google but the feedback was very negative. Despite that a friend of mine who went to his course some time ago(and who referred me to his free seminar) says that he found it good. However I havent noticed my friend getting any richer. I am still open to the idea of going but I would like to know the opinions of anyone here who has done his 3 day course. Please advise
My housemate at the time attended his course in Sydney then after parting with $9000 he attended the Melbourne seminar,he seemed to enjoy it however after speaking to George he was invited back to another seminar in Sydney to give a testimonial of how George had changed his life and made him rich!!!! I too hadn’t seen him become any richer and i have come across negative stuff about George Mihos on the internet as well.
If i was you it’s good to listen to other investors points of view and keep an open mind,but from what i witnessed with my friend i would be careful!!!!There are so many books out there on property investment to read and learn the basics,and surround yourself with like minded people.
