    Hi All,
    The IP I own has roller shutters.
    Last week the shutters slowly died.
    I believe the problem is the battery.
    Now I discussed this with the supplier, however, they have quoted me some redicules number of $$$ to get someone there to have a look, and another redicules number of $$$ for the battery and additional $$$ for changing it, although they are pretty much sure that the problem is the battery.

    I am happy to change the battery myself, as it is a straight forward process. However, not sure where the battery is.

    Would they normally locate the battery on the roof, or under the house, or somewhere else?

    Your help is much appriciated.

    Have you conducted a search on the net, using the brand name. It may help.
