has anyone heard of Quest Home Loans? a friend of mine used them and said they are really good. when you take out a home loan with them, they donate money to the Salvation Army.

i couldn’t find their website in google!? but this is the one he used… http://www.questhomeloans.com.au

All they are is a mortgage broker who dontates 10% of their trail commission to the Salvos.

Whilst i appreciate the Salvation Army is a great charity the amount dontated is hardly like to make much difference. I see they dont donate any of their upfront commission which really would make a difference.

    Cheers

    Hi Steve,

If they are good then use them by all means. I wouldn’t even consider the donation to the Salvos’s though. This is just a marketing ploy. If you are concerned about using a broker who is a good citizen ask them when you first meet them if they give to charities, I’m sure there are lots of brokers who donate money to good causes, just most have no need to advertise the fact.

    Regards
    Alistair
