Hi everyone, I was thinking of buying a house and renting out rooms to uni student. What i was wondering is When uni comes to an end are you left with an empty room ? How can this be avoided? Might i be able to put a unit student on a lease for 1 year to prevent vacancies?
If you have any other info on shared accomidation id like to hear from you.

You don’t have to limit yourself to uni students. These days there are many students from overseas studying at English colleges, these don’t run to the same timetable as the unis.
And then there are the working holiday makers.

fair enough, Is there anything i should look out for when buying a prop for shared accomodation ?
can i put people on a lease? Will a property manager charge anymore to manage a property like this?
