I’ve been reading a great book called “Property Millionaire” (Gary Seeto) and I’m currently researching a number of different buying strategies and dealmaking tactics for my first few investment purchases.
Gary advocates a number of approaches including: diversification across borders, five-year plans, influencing the ROI formula etc..
I’ve also read “From 0 to 130 Properties in 3.5 Years” (Steve McKnight); “Your Investment Property” (Anita Bell) and “Building Wealth through Investment Property” (Jan Somers) back a number of years ago.
However, I’ve found that a lot of the common literature on property investing seems to lack actual specifics of how the author(s) put their deals together. Does anyone have any further suggestions for my book list? OR (even better) any suggestions for other specific buying strategies, dealmaking tactics and/or experiences to share??

How about “$1,000,000 in Property in One Year” – Steve McKnight [biggrin]
It includes both deal making tactics, and buying strategies – And from the point of view of people who have actually done it.
Well worth the read.

If you have not heard of Micheal Yardney he is pretty well known here in the forums and has recently released a book titled:
“How To Grow A Multi-Million Dollar Property Portfolio” – In your spare time.
An introductory chapter is at his site to read for FREE ‘Click Here’. That will give you a feel of weather or not you want to read the book.
He also gives a few things with the book for free.
