Tony Alexander – Chief economist of the Bank of New Zealand Says;
This is relevant to those investors who may be cashed up and looking for bargains. We think bargains will exist this cycle simply because so many uninformed and undercapitalized people have entered the housing market with over-optimistic rental expectations in the past two to three years.This is how I feel about the NZ market.
He also goes on to say that their is no evidence of a slump or predicted slump in the near future unless their is serious unemployment. This is very unlikely given current strength in conditions.
Lets not continue the trend and make the same mistakes as these uniformed unrealistic investors that the chief economist of BNZ is talking about.
Lets get informed and make some good investments.
Regards,
Don
