All Topics / General Property / Serviced Apartments
Hi all, i’m new to this positive gearing seen and ihave just finished reading steves book, 0-130 properties in 3.5 years.
Very interested in starting and just wanted to get a few opinions to see if you are happy with positive gearing and wanted to ask if Serviced apartments qualified as a positively geared propertyWatch out for serviced apartments. There can be various problems such as:
– high management fees
– low growth
– difficult to get finance
– difficult to sell.Make sure you do your homework thoroughly on one of these.

You will find with servicesd apartments that in many cases you will only get finance for 60-70%. Also it is unlikely that there will be any capital growth.
