I’ve just done a wrap in Victoria. Onsold the house for $215K. Waiting for the FHOG grant of $12K to come through. When we settle on this property 2 or 25 years down the track, how much stamp duty does the wrappee pay? full duty of $9K or subsidised at $4K? we ticked “no” in the box for “do we want to offset the grant against stamp duty liabilities in respect to this transaction?”

I’ve called SRO victoria and did not get a straight answer.

    Thanks for all your help

Wrappee pays for it … plus interest !!!!f when they refinance to property into thier names. They will probably be charged anywhere between 12-16% interest.
