Does anyone know of any good ways to realy find good information about suburbs in Victoria? I am finding it hard to determine if a suburb is strong a werth investing in or not. I knoe REIV has some information but is there anything else?

I guess it depends on what you are looking for – if you are talking capital growth, then there are some suburbs that are still performing well and outperforming the averages.
Residex http://www.residex.com.au provide good reports at very fair prices.
and as you say http://www.reiv.com.au has graphs with price statistics for all suburbs.

I am having a lot of trouble doing my research and with thousands of other investors on the sight that are doing their own research no one can give me any direction on a simple topic like this. Is this because there are no good ways of finding this kind of information or are people just un willing to share their information? Sorry to complain but I thought that this is what this sight was for.

It depends what you want to research. As Michael suggested, Residex provided some good reports. You can get information on housing prices and trends by suburb, as well as some demographic and economic trends that you might find relevant to the property market at the ABS website, http://www.abs.gov.au.
You can also get some good information from some of the council websites.
