I’ve bought my first house, and may have made a mistake. I didn’t do proper property inspection and signed the Contract of Sale. Now the date of Settlement on 16/12/05 and My question is can i still pull out of the Contract should I get a Professional Inspector & In case if there is something of a concern to him.

    Thanks

    Hi pravin,

For starter let us know the state in which you are purchasing.
2nd is the contract subject to inspection, if so what is the inspection date.

    Hi Shwing
Thanks for your reply, Now to answer your question
The property is in Victoria and No its not subject to inspection, but rather it was subject to finance approval which was last Friday.

    Hi Parvin,

I can’t really help you out in Vic contracts.
I’d get an Inspection report for your own piece of mind, everything may be fine. If there is anything significant, speak to your solicitor.
