    Just a quick question,
I’m just about to sell an investment property in Victoria and I live in NSW. If I decide to purchase a house to live in, can I claim the first home owners grant and void stamp duty?
I don’t think I can but I’d like to be certain by asking people here that would have an answer to my question. Thanks in advance.

    Globe.

Provided you have not previously purchased an owner occupied property then you should qualify for the FHOG,

Steven has given you the relevant link.

Be sure you have never lived in this IP nor had a partner who is ineligible as well.
