I have been steadily building up my property portfolio now over the last few years and being the main bread earner, I was thinking (god forbid) if I had a accident that stopped me from earning what a burden that would put on to my family.

I have briefly spoke to my accountant and she suggested that I should get income protection (also another tax deduction-bonus!).

Can anyone recommend someone that they use for this type of insurance (I live in ACT)?

    Many thanks

    Hi Jenny

In my opinion, any insurance is not about the lowest cost or rebates. It’s about getting the best value for money. There’s a lot to take into account when selecting an insurer, particularly in terms of their policy. Comparing price may not be comparing apples with apples. I suggest you see a licensed and reputable financial planner.

    Cheers

    Stu
