I am an insurance agent and I was summoned to a clients place this week to insure her house. This lady is turning 80 this year . She retired 2 years ago from working in her drapery store which lasted 45 years. It turns out she already has 8 houses and had just acuired her ninth house. The house has been placed on a 6 year fixed interest term because she thinks that interest rates must go up some time and the contract is to run for 30 years. She will be 120 years of age when this term is up.
For those of you who have reticent partners, This lady has been a widow for many years and says she will not be telling her children of her latest purchase until the contract has been finalized because they will be cross with her. This lady still has a passion for real estate. I was required to inspect the house she was living in so I could see why she bought it and was also given a tip on another house that she had found that I should buy because she had to make a choice. This Lady always buys good quality sound mainly brick split level houses.
