    Hi All,

I have paid a deposit for a land and sign the contract as i thought i was going to use my own loan to buy the land.

But after some consideration with my Girl friend, we are going to take a joint Homeloan and would like to put her name as well to the contract. The title for the land wil due sometimes in November 2005.

Is there anyway to do it?

I heard from my settlement agent that we need to sign a Defacto status Form. But we have just moved in together to the same address, are we allowed to sign the defacto form? Is there any way to add her name into my land contract?

    Thanks in advance.

    Willy

YOu may be able to get the vendor to rescind the contract and you sign a new one with the new names.
