All Topics / Forum Frolic / US market has peaked, I’m getting out!!!
Hi all,
We all know that Real Estate in Australia has been quite a high price for some time with not much room left for decent Capital Gains. As a successful investor myself, I’ve had to adjust my investing to take advantage of other rising markets, wherever they may be.
As a result, a few years ago, I decided to enter the USA residential property market. I invested in both the East and West coasts, namely California and New York, and am now cashing in from the latest boom in those areas and getting out.
Although advertising is not permitted here I’ve included my list of properties that I have for sale in the hope that one of you many fellow forumites might get the chance to buy before a stranger does. They’re all ‘blue chip’ properties, nicely located and come with responsible tenants.
Here’s the New York list:
Here’s the others in California;

some nice properties there. I was in some of those areas a few weeks ago. 5th Ave New York suprised me i expected a lot more “Glamour”.
Yes it would be nice to have those properties in a portfolio.
I’ll swap my Castle in Scotland for them. Oh and i’ll throw in a bridge in Sydney.
