    Hello,

I’m currently living & working in London and have just started my research on property investment as this would be my first shot at it. I’m in two minds whether to invest in Sydney or London.

I’d like to invest in Sydney (or anywhere in Australia) because it’s my home & know that I will eventually go back there however I’m also interested in investing in London because I could see a potential in the property market come the Olympics in 2012.

Could anyone please tell me the state of the property market in Sydney at the moment?

Which other cities/states in Australia have potential investment opportunities?

Any views on Sydney vs London?

Thanks and I appreciate your advice.

    Hi,

As I have no idea about the London market, I can tell you that Sydney is in gloom now which means it’s not a bad time to buy, but very bad to sell property.

Perth & Qld are the old time favourites as they have the highest populations trends in Australia.

Although it all depends on where, when & how much?

    Hope this helps.
