I agree with you in that I am constantly experiencing a tremendous learning curve in the exciting world of real estate investment. Frustrated with the why’s & wherefore’s of “depreciation” I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a quntity surveyor to value my real estate. It wasn’t until I was faced with the facts and figures of my own properties, together with a hunger to read anything available to me on the subject, an on-the-ball accountant and astute valuer that it very clearly and easily “sunk in”. And so it always seems to be on this wonderful journey, that I am constantly amazed at how “easy” it all seems in the end… Maybe it is because I just love what I’m doing… and making some great dollars along the way!!!
