    Hi All,

    I have just been offered a job with the local office of an big player real estate agency. I am looking for some ball park ideas on what is a suitable retainer package for a rookie as the offer is way below what I could earn in my previous industry. I realise that real estate agency work is rewarded mainly with commissions but I would have thought that the retainer would be bettere than the minimum wage. Any advcie is appreciated.

    I think the minimum wage is around $35,000 pa plus commissions.
