    Update 10:48pm Sunday
Thank you for your quick reply. I’m in Victoria and the contract says ‘Form 2 Estate Agents ACT 1980′. Also section 32 (1) of the Sales of Land Act 1962’. I haven’t put any money down as such but a $50 holding fee.

    Hi everybody,
I’m stuck in a jam and need some advice. I signed a contract for an apartment last weekend and didn’t pull out of the contract before the 3 day cooling off period. Does this mean that even if I do not want to go ahead with the sale I am still bound to continue the sale?
I really need advice on this because the stress of not knowing is killing me!! I really do not want to go ahead with the sale, but because it is past the 3 day cooling period what are my rights now?
Thanks everyone for reading this =)

Without knowing what clauses you used and what state you are in the only thing I can suggest is that you call your solicitor tomorrow morning first thing and ask for some advice.

    Hope it all works out,

Can you tell us what you have found out and also perhaps let us know why you got cold feet over this deal?

Thanks mate and I hope it works out for you.

It looks like you maybe locked in, but you may be able to get out if the seller agrees. You had better contact your solicitor.
