I have also bought a block of land as an investment at Forrest Beach in Far North Qld. I am now toying with the dea of building a home on it and then selling it. Wizard home loans says I should build , keep it and rent it out. I read
ed one thread here that building a new haome on a block of land is very stressfull. Any insights pro and con? By the way I am inti land because if I buy shares I watch their price every day and it drives me nuts.

We found building our own new home very stressful.
But building, (Developing) a new home we fined is far less stressful.
Maybe because we see the home as some one else’s.
Our Development homes have gone smoother than our own home thus far.
So if you have a block of land I’d say go for it Build.

Wizard Home Loans are giving you financial advice as to how to develop property? Obviously he makes some money with this recommendation…

Unless the man is a licensed financial advisor he is breaking the law. I strongly suggest you consider using another source of finance and seperating him from your source of advice.

Thanks for that. There was a tiny thought in the back of my mind that the man was giving me this advice cause that would earn him comissions and perhaps did not really have my interest at heart at all.
