    Hey all,

Gogo- must reply to that first!!

What?! I appreciate your personal opinion, thanks for voicing it. You say people have nothing to show for being married and divorced EXCEPT kids?? Do kids and family mean nothing?? How awful, do they not have close friends? Morals and values seem to be going so far backwards, so rapidly.

I think most of the young people in here would disagree with you to the most on your post. What does it mean to “live life”. Jump off buildings? drive fast cars? what? travel? I am 23, have completed am a qualified electrician, qualified data technician, have owned a max of three properties at one time, run a business(see below), have been engaged and broke up, have almost been killed when a truck cleaned up 3 cars, have been sick, happy, laughed until I cried, been happy, cried, sad, loved, hurt, trusted, smiled, had so much adrenalin pumping through my vains that I feel like i could run forever, spewed my gutsout through alcohol, seen people die, been to numerous funerals, had girlfriends, been accepted, been rejected, been best man at weddings, attended weddings, gone off at parties. I go out often, I don’t have to drink to have a good time, in fact people think I am “pilling” when I am out because all I do is drink water and dance and be silly, I owned a 5th generation honda prelude when I was 19 for two years, drove it like an idiot, blew up the gearbox, owned a nissan, blew up the engine, have famaily and friends all over the world who are the most important thing to me, believe in what goes around comes around- need I go on……..well done to anyone who read all that.

I never really bring this up in conversation at all, but my master(martial arts) spoke with me the other night above “living life”. He makes us live life every single training session and more. I one session he will take out mind and body to the extreme, try and break us, then to the other extreme, where nothing exists in your head at all, no body. Hurt others, hurt yourself, push until you can almost go no more, calm until you can be no calmer and everything in between- he will make us laugh, philosphise, think, debate, discuss, show compassion, love, care, kindness……all in two hours.

Sorry to talk of myself there, it is not a good thing to do, but hopefully it explains my outlook on the topic a little beter.

Maybe when you get the time you could study “LIVE LIFE FIRST I THINK” policy and expand to us what that really means?? I am living my life and I am loving it. I love the people in it, I love the bad bad days, the good days and have no regrets. Sure, it gets very hard sometimes and I don’t feel like pushing on, but I believe almost every person in this thread has the character, motivation and discipline to push through the hard times to strive towards their goal. All the time “Living life”.

Sorry if this has dragged everyone, but I couldn’t let that post go untouched, could talk forever about “Life”.

My brief story. Purchased PPOR just after I turned 20, then bought another investment, then a 2nd investment when I was 22. Thats 3 properties at 22, sold two, now living in a 3 bedroom house where I base my business from. SOld properties to get the business going, should be running well enough soon that I can get back into renovating houses- thats my second “business”, renovating property. Basically my current position is my ppor and my business(see signature) and hopefully within 12 months go full timeback into renovating again too!

It is awesome to see you all posting here, please keep the thread going!!!

Maybe we could organise a convention once every 6 months or something? Just get together, meet, greet, have fun, live life(sorry sarcasm-lowest form of wit), talk investing and business. It is sometimes harder to be young and sucessfull because it is often easier to be succesful when you surround yourself with sucessful people- any sucess doesn’t mean money!

I believe you are all sucessful for jumping on here and giving this a good hard crack. You will get cold feet, but lets support each other and mutual benefit will come to you all.

All the best to you all…..

    Happiness Lies within:
The very purpose of life is happiness: in order to acheive happier days, happier weeks, happier years, happier family, happier human community…we should pay more attention to inner development.

Thats the biggest post I have made yet, good on you if you read it all. hehe. Bit off topic, but quite relevant.

Please post if you have any ideas on how we could all keep in touch- maybe lets just keep this thread moving along…..??

    Talk soon.

Wow what a reply?? Must have hit a sore point LOL

May I ask were you got all the money from to do all that plus invest in property at such a young age? Not all 20 year olds can buy a house most of them are flat out buying a car Maybe you know something we all dont? What i meant by live life is simply this. Do all you want to do travel, spew your guts out if you want but dont be a tight ass and save every single cent just to invest in proepety you can do that later in life after all you are young once. Nothing wrong with kids but why have them so young (Live life first) Why get married young (live life first) Why buy a house and get tied down at a young age (Live life first) Travel the world (Live life first) You can be filthy rich if you start investing young by the time you retire but no amount of money can buy you youth. ( Live life first)

Hehe, nah mate, I don’t have any sore points. My money to invest in property came from working my back side off during my apprenticeship. I actually bought my first property while I was an apprentice and worked weekends renovating that property. I bought it before the last “boom”. Yes I did have to be tight, but money isn’t everything to me, I enjoy life without too much of it.

Agree though, being a tight arse is no good and not taking for granted the fact that you are young and healthy NOW and not later is important. Thanks for your reply.

I bought my first property about 5 weeks ago (I’m 19).

My brother is devilcv8, (well at least I think he is, is that u ?) and he pretty much inspired me to get into the property market.

I get to learn from his mistakes and he gives me advice whenever I need it..

I couldn’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing. My friends think I’m crazy, but what do they know.. they’re still bitching about having to live at home or rent

How do you guys manage to get finance at a young age? Do yous have jobs which earn high enough to cover serviceability or do your parents go guarantor on serviceability to get you into finance?

    Hey Brizza,

I posted my story a page back. I myself had no help from anyone. I worked from a young age, studied and acquired knowledge from a young age. I bought a small townhouse/unit before the last “boom”, renovated it and made a wad a couple years later. Had a couple other properties in between. Back to one now. Had to be a real tight arse for a couple years, but hey, its paid off. It has allowed me to try my own business too, but not enjoying that as much as renovating, so considering going back to full time renovating- will live off LOC while I renovate and hopefully up, up and away again.

I have almost gone under a couple of times, but not quite. Enjoy it immensely.

What is your story Brizza, are you into it?
