All Topics / Forum Frolic / Hello from new poster :)
Hi all,
I went to the seminar yesterday and enjoyed the day very much. I found it very interesting and informative. I also like the way that Steve states that Property Investing, like all other areas of life, is 80% Psychological and 25% detail (Actually doing it).I am currently going through personal growth and starting to fix the mental barriers that have held me back… I have found 2 books very interesting and helpful:
1) Feel the fear and do it anyway – Susan Jeffers (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0449902927/qid=1114392403/sr=8-4/ref=pd_csp_4/103-2859209-6011012?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)
2) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People – Steven R. Covey (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0671708635/qid=1114392552/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/103-2859209-6011012?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)As 80% of this is psychological, I feel that a forum dedicated to discussion of this would be helpful. Being motivated after a course or reading a book is great, but it would be fantastic to have a resource to help keep this motivation and support others in their growth. What do other people think? (I do understand that this is first and foremost a property investing forum [smiling])
Thanks
TagHi Pct,
Welcome to the forum – there are some other recommended readings found on a ‘sticky’ in the heads up section.

I was at Steve’s Brisbane Masterclass and felt that the psychology of anything we do is greater than the detail itself.
I am a motivated individual and that is why I put my hand up to organise a group happening in Brisbane on a monthly basis.
There always is success in numbers.
The date I have planned is Monday, 6 June, as this is the 30 day mark to help each other progress to the 60 day mark.
Those books you mentioned are terrific – there are many more.
When the student is ready the teacher with arrive.
Next time you are in a book shop don’t be surprised is a book jumps out at you. That will be the next lesson in your journey.
