    What factors do they consider for land valuation that they do for land rates ?
    Location,Area,Slope,Street Frontage,View of block ? or do they base it on certain common stuff….two blocks of equal area side by side – would they necessarily have the same land valuation amount ?

    Hi Bacchu,
    I’m not sure if any of those factors are taken into consideration, but I’m pretty sure the land tax you pay is based on the council valuation of your property i.e. the valuation on your rates notice.
    So perhaps you should speak to the local council involved.
