What would you do?

Hi, I’m new to all of this…

My husband and I have recently sold our block of land in NSW. Settlement date 26th April. We’re looking for idea’s on what do to, where to invest. The bigger picture is:
We have approx $198k
We owe $90k of that to the bank
I’m on a pension (due to car accident)
Husband is currently caring for our only child, an at home Dad for the time being.

So given these details, we are looking for some good advice. Keep in mind that we have spare time for reseaching. Where would you be looking to invest? Some names of places would be good. What would you be looking at investing in? Also, is now a good time to invest? Or do you think the market will slide even more?

I hope I’ve covered my ground… If there is anything else I haven’t thought of to ask that you can help us with, it would be much appreciated.
