All Topics / General Property / Melbourne – Where to live
Hi All,
Sorry I know this is not investment related…
My sibling is moving to Melbourne and working in the city. He is an executive 27yo single male. Has anybody got any input as to a nice location for him to rent?
I like St Kilda and those trendite areas but being the suited type I don’t think he would fit in there!
Any ideas?
Thanks

Richmond, Sth Yarra, Sth Melbourne or even Docklands. There are many different (older to newer premises in these areas which will suit different budgets). All close to transport & good areas for going out….
I personally live in Sth Melb and walk to work (in Southbank).
yep – try southbank or south melbourne. lots of suited types.
South Melb is excellent, worked there for many years, great location and quiet on the weekends. Richmond is also great. Also consider hawthorn & camberwell, it has great access to PT. Prahran is also very good, everyone loves Chapel street … don’t they [biggrin]. I lived in Prahran for a few years, a great place to live. Actually Melbourne is fantastic![baaa]
Good luck with it all. >> b
