Anyone who would like to get together and have a chat with other, ‘Like Minded Investors’. Come along to the Bundaberg Positive Cashflow Property Investors Group Meeting, at the end of February or beginning of March, the official venue date and time is yet to be set (so subscrib to this thread!). I want to wait and see what the best time would be, as far as the availablity of people. So voice your opinion as to where and or when you would like the meeting. I would really like to hear your piont of view! I would prefur a time during the week, evening, because i think it’s a better time to quiet down and have a chat in the meeting.

Send a quick email to me if your interested and i will send you out the information about as to where and when and also put you on the mailing list for future group meetings.

Anyone interested in renovations (small cosmetic repairs and re-sell’s) and or house removal on to land and se-sell’s, please feel free to come along. As this will be one of the things we discuss in the meeting. And or come along if you just want to catch up with all the potential idea’s in and around the Bundaberg area.

Apart from emailing me to get on the emailing list, generally chat about the meeting in this thread, with any questions and stuf regarding the meeting.

I would love to play the 202 Cashflow Game. Not necessarily to play it at the meeting (though anythings possible :)). But to lend it to play sometime, would be good! And or we might be able to make a contact to play the game another day!

Two colleagues will be turning up (one just an interested friend and the other my Landscape garderner), we hope to share and chat with like minded Investors and renovators, interested in the Bundaberg area! I imagine a few cold beverages, as it’s quiet warm up here in Bundaberg and particularly with the recent night’s we have been experiencing.

I’m trying to secure the venue at the ‘Lady Musgrave Cruise” office (on the bank of the Burnette river), as I know the owners dad. And it’s a really nice location on the river bank. Although I will be able to get a venue somewhere, if this doesn’t happen!

Let me know of any requests, suggestions , while it’s in early stages of setting up the meeting, if you have any ideas, let me know! And or indeed if there is already a Group meeting at Bundaberg, please let me know. As I would like to join and attend.

    Jaffasoft,

Sounds interesting! I own 40 acres of Rural Residential land just out of Bundaberg and would be very interested in chewing the fat over what options I have to develop it.

Unfortunately, I’m based in Sydney so won’t be able to come along. But maybe we can exchange PMs or start a thread on all things Bundaberg.

I’m off for 5 weeks holidays to Africa so apologies in advance if I don’t reply to a PM or an email for a while. I’ll check in again when I get back towards the end of March.

    Have a great meeting!
    Michael.

It’s seems as though we’ll be looking at the end of March for the meeting.

I’m getting some interested, but there must be more in the cob webs. Remember, it’s you that make the team or group, so come forward and express your interests.

I think i will also put up a few adds around town and in the RE windows. And a little add in the paper.

I will keep you posted, send an email to me and I will put you in with the others on the email database.

P.S. Great wheather we’re hav’en lately, not as hot as before, just beautiful blue sky’s!

    Hi all in Bundaberg,
I just wondered if any of you wouldn’t mind helping a Sydney sider with some advice….

I would like to invest to buy an occupied dwelling with growth potential closer to the CBD,
in the 150-200k region. Is that possible? I am not necessarily looking for positive cash flow at this stage, a slightly negative geared is ok due to higher income and tax benefits…but a stable rent history is a must…if you can help, email on [email protected]

    Hi Michael, Jaffa et al

There you go again Michael, ANOTHER HOLIDAY!!! Last time we linked, you were off on a 2nd honeymoon. What’s this holiday in honour of?

And Jaffa, I LUV your cashflow calculator, have linked with Michael and his lovely wife before, and hail from Gympie where we’re doing our first Rural res subdivision in a JV with another forumite from WA. Would love to be included on your email list, though it’s unlikely we’d be able to make any +CF meetings in Bundie. The Bundie area interests us, however. We do get up around Bundie quite often, though, and are aware of the opportunities there.

Keep in touch, and if interested, PM me for phone numbers etc.
    Cheers
    Greg

    Greg,

He he… Actually, the Africa trip was the “planned” second honeymoon, sailing in the Whitsundays over Christmas was just a repeat of the activity which was the first honeymoon, and was in reality just our Christmas holiday this year (if that makes sense). [biggrin]

Well, we’re back now (2 days ago)! Jaffa, any news on the meeting?

Being Sydney-siders we won’t be able to make it but I would be interested in opening up discussion on all things Bundaberg.

    Cheers guys,
    Michael.

    Hi Michael

Don’t keep us drooling, tell us about Africa!! (ie., make us drool some more [biggrin][cap]) With such high consumption, how can you and Kay afford to invest? (just kidding [cigar])

And Jaffa, did you get my reply to your PM?

Keep in touch, both of you, okay? We’ll be passing through Bundie sometime soon.

    Cheers
    Greg and Niki

    Greg [biggrin],

The “high consumption” question is a good one, but in reality we backpacked to keep costs down and flew there on frequent flyer points so the whole trip cost around the $5K-$7K mark. That may sound like a lot, but we normally live conservatively and could easily afford this little extravagance.

As for the summary… Flew to Tanzania and did a 7 day safari in the northern game parks including the Serengheti. Saw all the big 5 as well as the great herds of wildebeast and zebra. From there we travelled to Zanzibar island for a week of R&R on the beach. Finished up by flying to Zambia and checking out Victoria Falls. An amazing trip, and something Kay has always wanted to do!

With her being 5 months pregnant now, we figured we better have one last hurrah before bub comes along and puts pay to any more long backpacking holidays…

    Cheers,
    Michael.

Greg y, I believe i did get your email. But only now, it was so hectic over easter I didn’t get to any internet cafe. I hope I can still get a chance to catch up with you.

The meeting is on at The North Progress Hall Bundaberg on this Saturday 2nd of April 2005. North Bundaberg over the old bridge, road curves a quick left then right, at the Aussie Hotel and along Queen Street is the North Progress Hall on the right, just past the round about.

I’ve booked the hall for 7PM till 12AM there will be chairs and tables. I might charge a small fee towards the hire of the hall, which is a total of sixty dollars.

The time set gives time for anyone to have tea before they go and to travel on Saturday when they might not be working.

So far there is ten that i estimate will turn up , i know of 6 locals. Well be talking about land and house removals, renovations and +CF creative opportunities.

I will supply beverages. Or BYO alcohol if you wish.

    All welcome.

    Regards
    Jaffasoft

    See ya there! [biggrin]
