Does anyone know the rules for selling a tenanted property with a lease. The Real Estate Agent we have listed te property with claims we are obligated to pay for the tenants moving expenses. Is this correct?
Is this a residential property?
Is there a current lease on the property?
I supppose if they have a valid lease and you want to break that lease, you would have to pay penalites. Otherwise, I would suspect you could just give them the required notice to vacate the property.
