A Newbie in search of some pointers..

I posted a couple of questions recently and in following up from them, I was hoping to get some advice on the following,

‘What are the things that must be considered and/or done when beginning to run a home business that manages your own property?’

(for example, necessary qualifications, legal issues, and whatever else)
