Quoting Frank Lowy in the Sydney Morning Herald today about the disastrous ownership of Ten:
“But if I had never taken a risk, I would still be a delicatessen owner in Blacktown.”Golden words indeed.
Hi,
Great pick up!
The whole issue of taking a risk is very underdone in many discussions.
Finding the resolve to beat the comfort zone can be difficult, but I’m yet to meet a success in any field that did not have to risk something to achieve a better outcome.
Thanks again for the contribution.
Cheers,
Steve McKnight

Hi,
Thats a great quote and typically sharp from Lowy who would have to be one of Australias most inspirational success stories.
I would suggest you read his book as it is extremely inspirational and it shows just how far a single person can go in business. I am sure that Frank Lowy uses Steve’s same idea of replication of a successful process.
