All Topics / Legal & Accounting / property partnership structure
hi steve, we have a new partner in our business, but also want to enter into an investment partnership with the same person.
We will be starting a pty ltd company to address the first business partnership. How did you structure your investing partnership with Dave?
I am half way through your book – i am loving the enlightenment. Our partner is also reading you book at the moment, so we are ready to go, but not sure how to work it.I think Steve and Dave setup trusts where both were directors or the trustee companies.

Yes they did Terry. They used a discretionary trust and also have various beneficiaries to distribute the earnings to minimise the tax impact.
