Thanks for your replies to my ‘turning negs into positives’ query. Having talked to our financier we are now ready to sell off one of our properties, a 2 bedroom unit, 3rd floor with fantastic views over the Patawalonga , and down to Glenelg (Adelaide). Having not needed their services for selling in the past 5 yrs or so, how do you suggest I find the right real estate agent to market the property? Any cautions?
    Any potential buyers out there??!!

Negotiate with them on their commission. If they drop it quickly or a lot, get someone else. If the agent cannot beat you in the negotiation, imagine how bad they will be with buyers!!!

Shop around, ask what extra service etc they have to offer you that their competitors don’t. Ask friends etc too – word of mouth is good
