gday steve or dave or someone if you are out there
where do you guys do the research for suburb growth, population changes, macro economic indicators etc? do you rely on RP data or residex ? aside from the two abovementioned sources and some government sites which are great, its easy to find crusty census 2001 data and other unreliable info. but less easy to find good stuff
thanks

Local councils and chambers of commerce can help. Many councils have demographic, economic and future delelopment data which can give you a picture of what is happening in the town.
