All Topics / General Property / What books should I get?
I like to know what IP related books I should get to understand the in and out of IP? I have Jan Somers book and I like to learn more about building IP portfolio. Currently I have no IP.
In the back of most finance and investment books there is a “recommended reading” section. It lists a heap of other books that are good at covering this and similar topics.
While it doesn’t cover IP specifically, I must say that “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. Clason is a must read for anyone who is interested in wealth creation.
Age doesn’t negate effort – you can never be too young or too old.
Hey Zen,
May I suggest that you do a search for recent threads on books to read. Seem to remember a long thread going through just about all of the best ones!
cheers
Jan

Thank you for the information. The thread mentioned enough books to keep me entertain for a couple of months. I am a slow reader. I might start with The Riches Man In Babylon since it covers general wealth creation.
Well heres my 4 books:
~Rich Dad, Poor Dad – R.Kiyosaki
~Cashflow Quadrtant – R.Kiyosaki
~Money Secrets of the Rich – J.Burley
~From 0 to 130 Props in 1 Yr – S.McKnightThat should give you an excellent grounding at the very least.
Rgds.
Lucifer_auand so you dont get too narrow and zoned in on property and grasp an understanding how money moves cyclicly with manias between different investment markets, try “Extraordinary Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds” by charles mackay a short but compelling read
when the going gets weird the weird turn pro
