All Topics / Help Needed! / Large Developments & Growth Prospects nearby
Hi All,
Would be interested in your thoughts on the impact of large developers coming to areas and the impact of nearby property prices in suburbs or fringes of the large development.
For example in Qld, Delfin have developed Forest Lake Brisbane, Varsity Lakes Gold Coast & around the novotel twin waters sunshine coast. QLD Group have developed Collingwood park.
Most of these areas are not traditionally affluent but it seems as soon as they do, surrounding properties will grow.
Currently houses around a new devt in SEQ are very reasonable for $175 – $300k with a massive project 18 months away. We are considering a few purchases in the area for CG purposes as it is currently CF neutral
