    Hi,
The subject kind of says it all. How do I get finance for an OS (Canada) investment property. Positivly geared of course? I understand I should borrow Canadian dollars to not have the exchange rate come into play after the money is borrowed and I’m assuming I’d have to go through a Canadian bank. But how, has anyone done this? I know some people from Oz are buying in New Zealand. Can the same borrowing proceedures used for this investment be applied to Canada or other countries?

Thanks for any help. I have also posted this post in the “Help Needed” forum.

    Hi JRW,
You will need to find Canadian credit providers who offer finance to non-residents,
Do a search on google for Canadian Banks or alternatively contact a few Canadian Mortgage Brokers and have them do the leg work for you, Here are some links to get you started, good luck.
