All of them are actually quite good. I would say the most recent one.

I recently read “More Wealth From Residential Property” which was pretty good.

    Hi

Peter Spann lists 3 of Somers books in “$10 Million Property in 10 Years” (p264). He gives 1 star to her two most recent ones, but 2 stars (his top mark) for her first: “Building Wealth Through Investment Property” (1992). It’s a really good starting point, but I worked through all three to get more depth.

    Cheers

The reality books for us arm chair property investors! No developing, wraps, paint and punts, renos for profit, on-sells etc, etc just simple buy and hold! Yeah, sure she takes the fun out of it but she’s all about promoting sustainable and bullet-proof property investing.
Her books don’t feed the greed factor like so many other writers try to invoke.[biggrin]

    Hi Mark,

Recommend all of them – the ‘best one’ of Jan’s books for me was Jan’s ‘Story by Story’ which gives a number of very short stories about property investors – some positive and negatives and so to do and not to do hints.

After that the other three all have their good points with the most recent a little more up to date purely, for me, from a statistical point of view.
