    Hi all,

    Last week we purchased a house in Hervey Bay..This is an area that we will be concentrating on as we’re shifting there soon.

    Hervey Bay is an area that we feel will have great prospects for capital gain, as the airport is being expanded to allow jets in, and lots of development is happening there (whether that is good or bad)[blush2] Hopefully it won’t go too silly..

    Anyway, the RE Agent said that they were flat out at the moment and she personally sold 6 properties herself last week, and the other agents sold lots also. She said the area seems to be defying the slump….

    Has anyone else heard such things about coastal QLD.. I wonder if all the ex-NSW investors are buying there now instead, due to the exit stampduty…

    Hi Wilandel,

    lol… i was up there about a weekend ago… personally, the area, didnt take my interest…

    but i did have a good time, while i was there…
