its that time of the year for me.i’ve put it off long enough.Next wednesday im going to my accountant to finalize my returns.
However im sure he knows very little about wraps,as i have had a wrap running successfully for the past 12 months what should i take with me to educate him in this field.OR
Is it easier and safer to go to an accountant in sydney that specialises in this field, if so any recommendations would be appreciated .
Regards Terry
Hi Terry,
I would ring said accountant before you go in and ask him/her about their knowledge of wraps and if he/she is uncertain then move your books to an expert.
I prefer to know that when I deal with the ATO that my accountant knows what he is doing.

I explained a ato wrap tax ruling and even gave a topic id number and ruling from ato records. My accountant still felt compelled to charge me to find out something I already knew. [blink]
I plan to do a lot more wraps, so I am too considering a change.[eh]

Print out a few of the posts made by Julia on this forum. That should help.
